I’m really not sure what Calgary will do with talbot. I think they want to keep him and it appears that he liked being there but they may not be able to afford him

And he said he wants to be a starter. He made a good case for that this season.

Wasn't Khudobin reportedly very unhappy during his season with the Ducks in 15-16? If true, he might not even consider returning as a FA.

Much will depend on what Kevin Boyle does with the Gulls. He needs a new contract too. If he resigns with the Ducks, then could see Stolarz as our backup (even though I think Miller plays another year). If the Ducks choose to not resign Boyle, or he goes elsewhere, then the question is do the Gulls want to go with Stolarz and Eriksson Ek.

And there's also our heir to Gibson, Lukas Dostal, waiting in the wings.

And there you have it... Back up goalie is the 1 position we don't need to worry about at all... Stolarz would be more than adequate if RM hangs them up... And with Ek and Dostal in the wings, we're set for the foreseeable future.

Goalies are the 1 area the Ducks are great at.
