Carol Schram: Re-watching Canucks-Blackhawks Game 6 & the Judd Brackett saga plays out Notes and thoughts from the rebroadcast of Game 6 of the Vancouver Canucks-Chicago Blackhawks playoff series from 2011, and it sounds like the relationship between Judd Brackett and the Vancouver Canucks might not even last as far as this year's draft.

I think 1984 style thought policing should be condemned.

Thanks Carol! Sounds like it’s bye bye Brackett, it’s too bad as he clearly knows the NCAA. Seems like JB has done a great job setting the scouts up for success, im sure he’ll continue if judd is out.

With restrictions starting to slowly be lifted by mid May there’s now IMO a real chance pro sports starts up in some capacity sooner than later.

I think the PGA Tour is starting first week of June if I’m not mistaken?

I'm guessing you don't really know what I've been saying...

Looks like Parks in BC are opening up May 14th. I hope this applies to rec sites. Most of the best trout lakes are accessed through Forestry rec sites and they have been closed as well. I understand closing for camping but backing your boat in the water and fishing well away from others is not very risky compared to the 6 foot rule accepted in any city town.

My twitter feed was very mature before following hockey and Canuck fans. Fly fishing topics, conservation groups, bird watching enthusiasts, music... friends and family in far away places. Posting fishing pics etc...

Now I leave twitter in minutes after trying to wade through my feed full of sheeple losing their poop demanding someone be removed from the NHL because he made obnoxious comments in PRIVATE with his friends and colleges who are no strangers to this kind of behavior.

Perhaps people are under the illusion that there isnt tasteless jocular behavior going on in private sports life. Naive

I have been spending very little time on there lately.

They shouldn't be bringing in people out of their province right now period though.

Happens all the time. Putting ppl out of work here doesn’t get divulged. Saputo in Poco also doing this with Quebecers.

I stopped playing online poker about 8 or 9 years ago. I still have between $300-400 in my pokerstars bank and I cant even remember the e-mail account it was under or get a password reset. I already did that once and had to start with new e-mail and everything and then fried the computer. Time passed and I forgot all the info needed.

@nighthawk

We are talking in relation to covid19 and people going across provincial borders

You're going down a different avenue with foreign workers that I dont really want to get into.

It’s not a thought if you post it publicly.

Whatever’s going on inside your head is still exclusively yours.

So Leipper is a douche, not surprised, athletes often are, but isn’t that why we love them?

@Lefty, I think you’re right, they’re going to make something work, and I couldn’t care less. I can see PGA having no issues without fans. Think the CFL might be done, for good. Maybe owners can survive a year with no football, but I doubt it. MLS probably in the same boat.

Mine is the same, world news, business, education and wine, and then a bunch of stupid hockey tards. We should all be more like Vantel, following nudie sites and Darwin awards.

His rise in the organization coincides with the most successful drafting for the organization but like any other business, everyone is replaceable.

I guess the bigger concern is that this is yet another example of relationships being spoiled within the organization with Benji at the helm. Maybe it isn’t him, but he’s ultimately responsible.

Shouldn't the Canucks have the right to have this guy at the draft with them. He would have been had this been held at its usual time.
