Thanks for the series. I think your analysis is fine on the team.
Sucks that pos ek copied the idea.

On the one hand, snubbing Ovechkin is wrong on so many levels. On the other, Ovechkin and Svechnikov on the second line is just sick, I don't care who the center is. |

I have no problem with Ovechkin moving down the depth chart. But, I would assess your statement that Ovi is currently a one-dimensional player as about 7 years late.
He is an overall monster and great leader these days, even if I wish he wasn't!! |

Sergachev is actually playing his natural left side again and was thriving this year. But he can play his offside on the right side which he plays the off side on the point of the power play. I think the kid is underrated actually because of Hedman, a lot of people don't realize how good he has become.
Vasy on his game is the best goalie in the league. He can go off for 20 straight games then the bottom falls out for a few, as he gets older I hope he shows more consistency.
Kucherov is a light out dynamo in the offensive zone, he likes to float toward the blue lines and can be a defensive liability sometimes but he negates that with his purse offensive prowess. The key with Kucherov is his own head, sometimes he mentally checks out of games which is his problem.
Thanks for the reads. |

Panarin over Ovechkin translation: I'm making a controversial choice in an attempt to get get heated responses.
Damn! I fell for it. |

Panarin is infinitely a better hockey player than Ovi right now. |

Gusev and Buchnevich prolly round out the top 9.
Last line would be a mish-mash of Namestnikov, Kovy, Barbashev, Nichushkin, Radulov, and I’m sure there is prolly an -ov name I’m forgetting. Oh, Orlov, but that’s defense.
I doubt Podkolzin is ready, but that could be a fun 4th liner |
