Maybe reading into it too much but kreids stall and stroke? Two leaders with an RFA, seems like he will be back |

Thought the same thing about Strome, but he's still a Ranger so who knows what happens when (if) things get back to normal. |

Nothing firmed up yet obviously but two hub cities instead of four is generating some buzz in discussions amongst teams. Las Vegas, for example, where an entire hotel/resort could be dedicated to the NHL and with easy access to the arena.

NHL Board conference call today. The NHLPA was also busy this weekend working on return to play scenarios. Two Hub Cities with 12 teams in each has been discussed and remains one of the possibilities. TBD. |

I'm a little dubious you could isolate everyone in Vegas. Even if blocking off a whole casino could be viable, a lot of the casinos are connected. Take for example across the street from the arena, I can walk all the way from Mandalay Bay to New York New York and never have to go outside. You could do it at places which are sort of at the end of the strip like South Point, but then you'd have to transport the players back and forth.

I know somebody here who'd welcome a chance to stay with Kreider at the "Man-da-lay" |

He'd be disappointed too when he found out the Rangers wouldn't be in the playoffs |

Ever been to Las Vegas in July?
I haven't , but I know it is EXTREMELY hot! My first trip there years ago was in mid-May and they had an early season "heat wave". It was 115 degrees and it really drains you. These players from Europe and northern Canada are in for a shock! |

Around 1998, I went there for a weekend bachelor party in August...I got off the plane on the tarmac at like 1am local time...110 degrees ...110 at 1am!! |

I think the concern would be for the ice, but I’m sure they’ll be making that a non issue. They’ve figured out how to run games outside for years now, once in California. |

Yeah, I was in Vegas last June and the heat was a shock to my system. I think I told this story, but I was staying in the Luxor and was at Caesars hanging out for the day and decided at about 4-5pm I'd try to save the 15 bucks Lyft trip and just walk "only about a mile" back. One of the biggest mistakes of my life and I walked through every inside connector and was only outside maybe half of that distance |
