That said, there have been several challenges to this tax exemption over the years and Dolan has prevailed every time.

The part omitted by Larry Brooks is that the original tax exemption on real estate taxes was supposed to be for a 10 year period but somehow the wording on the contract was changed.

I never knew about Jax hockey before seeing the LBC article. Not surprising to see that they used the Gators' colors.

I saw that as well. I’ve never really read much of his stuff, as I don’t have a subscription to The Athletic, but I heard he’s a really good writer.

Going to keep an eye on the Panthers Pressbox. Maybe he’ll want to collaborate on somethings here? Who knows.
