You have a difficult task here: We need you to write an accurate blog previewing the upcoming series with the Hurricanes. However, it must be written in such a careful and delicate way so that it will greatly get under BINGO's skin. Good luck!

Wouldn’t it be smart, if only 6 are allowed at a time, to have linemates skate together? Like Zib Buch Kreider as a group. Then have a pair of D and a goalie. Idk maybe I’m making it to complicated lol just seems like a good idea to be with the players you play most with🤷🏻‍♂️

All in good time I expect, TJ.
Right now the biggest factor is who is in the NYC area.
I was actually coming in to ask if anyone knows whether Georgiev is in town? We know Hank is home in Sweden and Shesty in FLA.
I'm sure it would take all of 7 minutes before these guys are wishing for a tender in the net.

Rangers only have 6 players in the area available to practice right now. Panarin will make 7 once he clears the testing

Good point lol.

In general tho, you’d think most teams would prepare this way once the players arrive. Have PP units skate, PK units, etc. I’d be looking for any legal advantage possible

The Sirius radio guys did their all time rangers teams, with coaches and wildcards:

Messier C
Graves LW
Hatfield LW
Gilbert RW
Leetch D
Howell D
Hank G

Lester Patrick
Emile Francis

Duguay WC
Bathgate WC

I’d have someone other then Dugauy, probably Richter, but pretty spot on I thought. Giacomin and Greschner too deserve recognition

I am a Duguay fan but there's gotta be 30 guys I'd take over him off the top of my head

I don't think it will be a huge deal. From now until early July it is all about just getting back in hockey shape, then they will have from July 10th ish until the beginning of August to practice as a full team.

TJ - any parameters for the selections, time with the team or anything else?

I agree on the choices and view same with Duguay, though he could switch between C and W. My selection would be on the Cook brothers or Boucher but more likely Jean Ratelle. Would have a backup goalie, which would be Richter and possibly Park on the team.

The point he was making was that NY loved him. Good looking guy, flowing hair lol. But yea, he isn’t the wild card imo

I edited it, I misheard at first

No parameters. Just their own thoughts. It’s very hard to do one team being around for 100+ years I’ll say that lol

Two guys picking guys and they picked different LWs. One didn’t have Graves which is kinda silly, he was the ultimate Ranger for a decade. That’s enough time for me on a player
