Jeremy Laura: Red Wings unveil new “behind the scenes” series

I don't know. The first time I hear Abdelkader say "we need to go on a run" or how great Jimmy Howard says how he feels I'm out. I can't do it. I really can't take another Blashill rehearsed catch phrase or cliche. I need a break from Tony Robbins. The goofy faces and ripped off Babcock voice are both creepy.

That’s what I’m hoping we don’t hear in this thing. I remember Eichel breaking his stick after a loss. He got some grief for it, but man, at least it was honest emotion. I’m not saying I want to see guys going off the nut and chucking bottles of milk, but how they internalize and try to figure this thing out.

I’d rather eat canned pasta than hear canned responses. I’m not a big fan of either but I can stomach mushy ravioli filled with God knows what better than the post game

I mean how many times can we hear "I liked our process" before we want to claw out our eyeballs with a fork?

Ya. My wife hid the forks. At least the Lions only do it 16 times per season...

That’s one of the reasons why I believe Larkin is the real deal. You can see it on his face when they are losing. Sure, he may take a bad penalty here or there but at least there’s emotion.

M2, that’s dead on. It’s rough to be in that environment without getting complacent. His desire for something better is inspirational

I think he got a small taste in his first year and he wants to be better. I can’t say the same for some of the vets that look like their going through the motions. Larkin, Bert, Mantha ( Most of the time now ) and Hronek set the example and give hope for the future. Even Fabbri played with a bit of an edge last year that you hope carries over.

Good times are ahead once we fill a few holes and get a goaltender for the future.

I believe in Steve..
