Ben Shelley: Reviewing the season: Dylan Gambrell

I wasn’t to keen on him this past season. Every time he was on the ice and lost a puck or a battle, he seemed to dismiss it. It’s as if he wasn’t in the game or was over thinking that he would deflate quick.
With the twins starting to develop consistency, Leonard signed and ready, I will have to say next season could be his last with the big club. I had some high expectations with his background.

The guy is garbage. He bring nothing to the team. Cut him.

I had higher hopes for Dylan, especially since we kept him instead of Norris in the EK65 deal. He is supposed to have "a very high Hockey IQ" but he seemed to be lackluster for the time he has been up with the Sharks. He hasn't been able to demonstrate any real consistency on Offense or Defense, and has not performed anywhere near expectations. It may be a matter of lack of confidence, or playing down to the level of the overall team, but he needs to dramatically step up his game...
