Sam you must not be watching or reading the beat writer's tweets as Palat is on the second line and Coleman is on the third.
If Stamkos can't go I don't see Verghaeghe staying on the top line, that line needs to produce and it would be better suited moving Killorn up, Coleman to the second and Verhaeghe playing on the third if it came down to that. I think its a good sign Stamkos will be ready come game time since they are holding his spot on the top line.
Here is the current lineup 6 lines deep and 5 d pairings deep
Verhaeghe-Point-Kucherov (Stamkos being out)
Killorn-Cirelli-Palat
Coleman-Johnson-Goodrow
Maroon-Paquette-Gourde
Volkov-Stephens-Joseph
Barre-Boulet-Smith-Witkowski
Hedman-Rutta
McDonagh-Cernak
Sergachev-Shattenkirk
Coburn-Bogosian
Shenn-Foote
Vasy
McEl
Wedgewood
Martin
Three cannot go to the bubble so I suspect Martin, Foote and Barre-Boulet will be the three not going to Toronto. |

Verhaeghe has great hustle, but has not demonstrated a good ability to finish. I wouldn't put him on the top line, other than a very short look perhaps. If Palat isn't working out, then I would try a proven finisher like Cirelli or Killorn over Verhaeghe - even if it means busting up another line.

Like I said cool Mr Galactic science boy I’m not a homosexual. Don’t know what playground teasing is but I’m sure I’ll bring that up for all to debate about.
Don’t forget to put up some scientific pictures up next time. We all miss that cool science boy stuff. |

You sound like you are trying to convince yourself. Keep trying.

Your side has no respect for science. That's why this pandemic has gotten so bad. You should have paid attention in school instead of eating paste.

You don't know much apparently. And if you can't tell, nobody cares. I don't know who "all" is, except maybe a couple of your fellow trolls around here.
Boy, son, every post you make proves my point to "all". I triggered you like a little female dog, and you haven't stop crying since. You have the worst case of butt-hunger I have ever seen.
Butt (see what I did there?), go ahead and keep it up. I can do this all day every day. |

That second period was probably our best one of the season. They’re looking real good out there. |

The second and third were great for the Lightning. The Robinson goal was really no ones fault the puck just bounced perfect off the block at the point.
They played loose but structured and pretty much dominated the 2nd and 3rd.
I still think its crazy how few PP the Lightning have had but they also need to stay out of the box which they did a good job after the first and killing off the 5 on 3.
Let's do it again on Monday. |

Yeah staying out of the box has always been an issue for this team. Luckily we have Vasi who can bail us out most of the time.
I’m also surprised that we haven’t gotten many powerplays. Even if we did though, it hasn’t seemed nearly as lethal without Stammer on the left circle. Also I’m not necessarily opposed to it, but when did Cooper start running Sergachev on the first line PP? |
