You have both picked good choices. Tim Heed has been underrated and under appreciated, especially by Pete DeBoer. He has a cannon of a shot and is a good PP2 player to have. He is far better defensively than Burns (okay, not hard to do) and is better than any of the prospects left to choose from.
Karllsson has been playing hurt but when he does play you can see his intelligence and skill with his passes and playmaking. When he is out of position on D, he hustles back to try to make up for it, as opposed to Burns who has a 2 second delay before figuring out he needs to do something...

Interesting choices....not going to disagree. I like Heed and feel he's really gotten the crap end of the stick from the coaching staff.

Karlsson's an easy target for the ire of the fan base; but when he's on DAMN it's a different team. I thought last season he likely started off slow after having to recover from groin surgery the year before. We'll see what he looks like next season....assuming we have real hockey come back.

My pick for under-rated player would have been Goodrow, but gone now. My next choice, Dillon...oh yeah...gone. Sigh.

I guess Melker - he won't scare anyone offensively, but he's great on the PK and that was THE ONLY bright side to last season.

Would have went Barclay Goodrow prior to the trade. I guess maybe Melker Karlsson but its hard to choose with how bad they played last year.

Erik Karlsson was bad last year. He left his goalies out to dry on a nightly basis and looked very uncomfortable in his own end.
