Gardiner is overrated. He should sit. Especially on a team like Carolina where there are many D-men that can play the PP and create offence when down a goal or two.

The only reason I would have Gardiner is if he was 7th D-man and I played him sheltered minutes and PP time for 10-12 minutes a game.
