Seriously sad about Julien, though. Hope it’s something that can easily be treated and he bounces back. No doubt he’s stressed out right now as it is.

Frost not good enough for that fourth line? He was so touted by HeX

Best wishes to Julien. You never want to hear something like that happen to anyone.

That said, I seriously hope it doesn't become a rallying cry of, "Let's win this series for Julien, guys!" for Montreal. I still think the Flyers are the better team, the only issue is work ethic. I did think that Montreal was the harder working team in Game 1, and the Flyers won because they were just more talented/balanced. But if Montreal gets some extra juice due to Julien, the Flyers are going to have to dig a bit deeper. I think they can, and I still expect them to win, but I don't think any of the games will be easy.

Also, I'd like Price to be a little less comfortable in his net. Aside from Grant getting pushed into Price, I thought Montreal's forwards were much more aggressive around Hart than the Flyers were around Price. I'm not saying take a penalty (well, maybe I am), but I'd like to see players getting closer to him and buzzing around him a bit more.

I don’t think they want him starting on the 4th line. I’m sure they’d prefer to get that kid rollin with talent. I mean, we’ve seen what happens to guy when you start them before they’re ready on the 4th and strand them there. Coots comes to mind.

But the thing is, with the veterans and depth they’ve acquired this season who are playing pretty solid, they don’t need to bother pushing the kid. They’re fortunate to be in a position that he can mature and flourish. He was not the polished piece ready to come straight outta the box when he was drafted. He was a high potential kid who needed time.

As a Flyers fan, you should be happy about their ability to hold off for the right moment! We’ll see the kid soon, for sure. It’s also nice to know that if he’s needed, he can come out and contribute.

Besides, watching how the bottom 6 have been playing as of recent, why mess with a good thing?

Hextall (A) drafted Frost (B). Frost (B) is not currently on the roster (C). Therefore, Frost (A) is not good (D).

I'm always taken aback by the way certain boxes must be checked before one can be a coach in Montreal..

Could you imagine if similar standards were applied in Philly and if A.V. had a health issue and say.. Mike Yeo was tapped to step in to be the Flyers coach?

So each lower seed in the east outside of the Canadiens have won a game in their series. This is a trend we need to change. I love our defense, I love our goaltending, hopefully we have a better all around game at forward with all 4 lines and take the lead on them early and put our stamp on this game. Not gonna be easy. Habs also with great goaltending, a really good defense and man are they fast.
