Is Buffalo aggressively involved in every rumor?
|
|

Very few UFA's will be getting what they had previously envisioned. Teams are struggling to pay their own RFA's. Bad timing to be sure |

Seriously Eklund?
The Penguins are gone, the Caps are down 3-0, the Blues were one goal away from being down 3-0 (but have fought back to tie the series 2-2) LIKE CHAMPIONS DO Tampa is up 3-1, but that series is closer than it sounds. The Bruins struggled in the round-robin, and also against Carolina, but have found a way, to win 3 of four The Flyers were the top team in the East and have really battled tooth and nail against Montreal...they are up 2-1 but could be down 3-0.
I fixed it for you.
You did watch the Stanley Cup Finals last year correct?
Yep, the Bruins did not win.
Just saying, maybe let go of that Vancouver bias when writing your articles.
According to you the Blues barely hung on in game 3.
And now you mention Champions when talking about the Bruins and not the actual Stanley cup champions?
Lazy writing.

No offence to Colorado, they're a great team, but the Coyotes aren't even trying. They have no business being in NHL playoffs with that coach and roster.
Makes sense for Buffalo to be in the market for another RHD, after they sign Pietrangelo of course. Not like they have holes anywhere else, or already have too many RHD. Better load up at their one strong positon.
Not knocking Eklund's side of this. I can totally see Buffalo stick with the plan that isn't working rather than try something different. It's the NHL way. |

Regardless, there is only one defending Stanley Cup Champion right now.
That is the St Louis Blues.
Good luck with Halak
We've seen his poop show up close and personal here.
Nice pass Halak. Don't ever change. |

Colorado still need to make it through Vegas who look amazing. Not to mention If St L makes it past Van they will be rolling into the second round after dealing with adversity and on a high.
I think Colorado can make it but not all the way yet. Someone out East (Tampa or NYI) will win. It feels like Colorado has too many easy tests. |

Seems like you touched on every team in the East. Vegas plays in the West and have looked equally as good as Colorado. I personally never considered Pittsburgh or Washington as serious contenders in the East. Tampa - yes. Boston - yes. Philly - yes. |
|
|
|
Colorado could very well go all the way but the Coyotes are just a practice team for them right now they are that bad. |

Except the Isles, who have as good a record in the post-season as anyone.
And Vegas is doing it without any contribution from Pacioretty who is either out or ineffective when he is in. |

Yes for sure, I still think St. Louis will come out of the series with Vancouver but the Canucks are giving them all they can handle. Same as the Flames/Stars series, 6-7 gamer for sure. Colorado and Vegas will come into the 2nd round in the best shape. |

Oh yeah. Colorado looks unstoppable so far. Against a team that's not a legitimate playoff team.
