I haven't heard too many players complaining about ice conditions. If it was so horrible, wouldn't this be a recurring soundbite each night?

so the bad ice only affects the Caps and not the Isles ?? the Caps are down 3-0 because of lack luster ice and Isles boring play? do you believe your own hyperbole ?
yes on paper the caps are the better squad but, the caps look tired they look busted
and Trotz is occupying realestate in Reardons head...

Well we’re boring bad ice only effects exciting teams like the Leafs and Caps. Exciting teams also miss family and friends more.

I am not trying to say that the Islanders are only winning because of the bad ice, but I think its a factor more for skilled teams than teams like the Islanders, Columbus, Canadiens etc.

As for the ice being bad, they're playing multiple games per day and its definitely worse than usual.

h\HOW IS IT MORE OF A FACTOR FOR ONLY SKILLED TEAMS?
Barzal is the most skilled guy on the ice between caps and isles .. it doesn't look to be hampering his ability to do pirouettes

They are playing 2-3 games per day. But no fans. No humidity. No practices. No morning skates. If the ice was awful then why haven't players been mentioning this every night? Serious question. What evidence is there that the ice is bad, besides just an assumption?

I think the bad ice is why Rask left the Bruins. Just saying....

Probably shouldn't have dragged out that hot pile of steaming blue and white garbage out onto the ice. The ice quality would've been much better if that didn't happen.

I mean, i don't really see how good hard hockey is boring. So i don't understand why i keep seeing this "The islanders play boring hockey". Maybe i just appreciate teams that play hard defensively.

Side note, i have zero desire to watch the Islanders because i care little about the Islanders... but from what i have watched this playoff. They are playing just as entertaining of hockey as anyone right now.

Plus they have Barzal who is incredible to watch.

If you weren't so butt hurt about your team you would see one heck of a hockey game on right now... That "Boring" Columbus team with Zero "elite talent" is flying around the "bad ice" like men possessed.

Maybe if any of them are on Toronto later in their career we can hear how incredibly talented they are... lol.

One of the Toronto players must have mentioned"bad ice" Only thing that makes sense.
And the Ice did look like it was getting a little dung up.....Right behind Anderson-Every time he had to pull the puck out of his net!
