Carol Schram: Canucks show leadership in NHL shutdown, prep for Game 3 vs. Vegas The Vancouver Canucks were one of the leaders in the NHL players' decision to shut down the playoffs for two days this week in support of efforts to address racial injustice. On Saturday, they'll get back to work in Game 3 of their playoff series against the Vegas Golden Knights.

Tonight I think we will see a huge performance from JT Miller. He's been relatively quiet, and we have all speculated on a hand injury. That said I think the extra days rest will give him a lift. Looking forward to this one this game as I think the win last game is going to boost the confidence of this young group.

Thanks Carol, how do you think the extra days affect each team’s chances. I liked the. Amici’s chances for game three, riding the emotional win, and some of Vegas’s players being a bit rattled. Now I’m not so sure. I feel like Vegas will be more able to get back to what made them successful.
