My opinion still stands, he had three empty netters and he’s not irreplaceable, but I agree he had some good games in the post season.

Unless you are Mackinnon or McDavid, you are replaceable in this league. The thing is that he is not easy to replace, and near impossible to find someone younger. If you replace Bo, it is not to get assets, you are spending assets. The only players I would ever trade Bo for are guys like Draisatl, Barkov, Scheifle, Dubois, etc.

Time to trade Boeser and Gaudette......

Carol everyone is disappointed by JV because we see he has the tools to do more. This one is more about hefty price of arbitration though then performance expectations.

JV's just slow to figure things out. But by the numbers you posted JV had a decent playoffs from bottom 6 his first time around. He was up there in hits too. But again he was an immature young guy among in their prime physical veteran teams and was intimidated. He's not going to be an overachiever by any means or balls to the wall confident. Maybe in another few years he will be a consistent contributor.

Lets just put disappointment aside because its from expectations that should have been lowered.
