Lets Go Islanders.

Seems like the Isles are just delaying the inevitable. But I do admire this team and their drive and coaching. After suffering a blow-out in Game 1, Trotz proved that much of it was "fixable" and has steered this team into a mode where they have been very competitive! If Point is back next game, he will be the one to push Tampa to the final. Thanks for a fantastic series!

Yeah he told them to go to bed after playing a 7 game series with three OT’s and then hopping on a plane to Edmonton. Team was shot.

Enjoyable game to watch if you don’t have the pressure of being an Islander fan. They sort of rope a doped Tampa most of the game until they could take over play with a big push in double OT.

Living dangerously is the most exciting way. This is likely to end bad in game 6 but was still impressive.

Really happy that Anders Lee is our captain, and not that other guy that we had before him. You know, the kid that didn't win the Calder.

Interesting.

IMO, fatigue and conditioning are now a big factor for Tampa. It's a long shot, but the Isles just may reach the finals if their offense starts clicking and makes Tampa play with caution.
