Goalies are unpredictable, but I'd prefer finding a good one (based on his resume) who has a few good years left in him! Crawford has, at best, a couple years, and then you have to start over!
I see a few possible choices that should have more than one or two years.

At this point a couple years is all you're looking for.
Do whatever you can to draft Askarov and the acquire a goaltender who is as good or better than Mrazek for a couple years while he develops.
That's it. They don't have the space to spend on a long term solution right now anyway.
