Betcha didn't think a team with cap issues and who wants to be a contender would trade for Matheson at full price either.

Hoffman shouldn’t ever be a Hurricane. Not even a thought as a deadline acquisition.

He is a negative add to a team with production. His 5v5 play is awful. He is only worth playing on the PP. His 6 million price tag wouldnt be worth 8 minutes a game (maybe). Rod would and should protest with Hoffman, Chucky, or similar player(s) on the roster.
