Can a team buy out as many players as they want or is there a limit?

I would HATE it if the Devils signed the Queen. Too much hatred for the Rags organization to welcome him onto our team. Besides what value would he bring? His best days are behind him. We didn’t even sign Brodeur when he was washed up, why would we do it now? Would rather sign Greiss for 2 years to backup Blackwood, even if we overpay.

i cant imagine any way that Lundqvist wants to play in NJ. he is looking for a cup and NJ is nowhere near ready.

Didn't you recently say there would be strong interest in MAF if he was made available to trade? Now the interest is so low that he can't be given away and must instead be bought out? Seems odd.

Having two solid goalies will be important for doubleheaders.

There are a lot of goalies that will be available this year. Is Henry going to be pursued over (in no particular order) holtby? Markstrom? Fleury (if bought out)? Greiss? crawford? lehner? khudobin?

It will be a weird and interesting UFA period.

Lundquist might like living in LA. But they already have a King Alex. Not Lafreniere, but Alex Iafallo. He's pretty good. Was on pace for 20 goals this year.

Now that Montreal locked up Petry and Edmundson, to go with Weber, Chiarot, Romanov...well...that says to me that they are probably out of the running for Cody Ceci.

Habs using up cap space fast!! they are fine for this year, have about 10 million in space left to sign Domi and 2-3 spare parts but next year is another issue, a lot bigger contracts are up and will need to be renewed, not sure how it all fits? that's an expensive blue line.

Petry at 6.25 for four more years is a really solid signing. Without a doubt the teams best player last season.

Ron Jeremy was also a fan of doing two a day.
