Ben Shelley: Will Noah Dobson get a full-time role in the Islanders' lineup next season?

They should have let me him stay in the Q. He didn't have anymore to prove but he would have had 25- 30 minutes on the ice each game.

Most likely Dobson finds himself in the NHL next year if he plays well in camp and Pre season which I think he will. He can be sent to the AHL next year which wasn’t an option this year but again I think he sticks.
Also not sure Leddy gets traded and wouldn’t doubt a buy out for JB.
Just my opinion of course.

Yes, and by the end of the season he'll be as good as any of our D men.

Practiced and traveled with the team and did get in some games. Not all that bad. Good experience for the kid getting a feel of being a pro and what is expected on and off the ice.
He find a place with the team this year hopefully and develop into a top pairing dman.

If they are smart they will, kid has an incredibly high ceiling.

Looked very poised out there and probably grown physically. You can bet Trotz has him on schedule.

What do you guys feel about Wahlstrom? Don't you think he must be getting close for a shot at full time. I think he certainly has a higher ceiling than Bellows or Dal Colle. Any thoughts
