Now you are just teasing Flyer fans...
Ghost AND JvR as possible trades. How dare you!
Both would be viable for change of scenery mostly because the Flyers have others that can take either of the players place and cheaper. |

How about Palmieri? Devils can eat salary in it and take back some. I hate to see palms traded, but it’s the right move given the devils make up right now. |

With what cap space? - Feds91Stammer
I was looking at Vegas's cap situation, I don't even know who Vegas would even shed to clear space.
Stone, Paciortty, Karlsson, Smith, Marchessault, Tuch...probably no to all.
Only one I see is Stastny and I speak for all Flyers when I say OK where do I sign up. Ghost or JvR, your pick. The Flyers could use him as a 3C for 1 year. |

Would it shock anyone if Vegas were the team to land Pietrangelo this off-season . . . SOMEHOW! (?) He exactly fits the bill of what they need most, imo. If not Pietrangelo, maybe they take a swing at Dumba?
Of course, the goaltending situation needs some clarity first of all. It's disappointing what's happening with Fleury and I hope they commit to him. You can be sure no team in the NHL is interested in helping Vegas out by taking him without one hell of a sweetener. That and other cap concerns, good luck!
Lastly, methinks if you want to pry Laine from Winnipeg they would insist on Glass coming back the other way. Wouldn't mid Karlsson, either (great contract!!) but Chevy would be nuts to accept a deal that didn't include one of them. Is that something Vegas can really stomach?! |

Gotta clear cap space 1st!
Sign Lenher and trade MAF?? then sign a $2M back-up and your RFA's and you will be back at thetop of your cap limit, with little left to sign Nosek.....
All of a sudden you are looking like Toronto!!
Gotta clear out more of salary! Who goes for what? |

I'd like to see the proposals for these deals. I do think the targets make sense except maybe JVR. I think he will be deadweight of 7 million in a cash strapped team already. |

We’re getting sick of all the Laine speculation in the ‘Peg.
That said, a deal including Glass and Whitecloud - both Manitoba boys - would make sense and would lessen the sting
of losing Patty. |

Vegas is worse off with any of those players, aside from Laine.
Their only real weakness is shooting percentage. Laine is shooting percentage.
Other than that, it’s declining players on big contracts. And Ghost, whom wouldn’t help unless Martinez is going the other way |

Domi for Marchessault. Money would be a wash after Domi's new deal. Habs need scoring. Could work out for both teams. Possibly an exchange of picks to ease age concerns in the deal. |

How on earth would you get any of those and how would you fit them under the cap?
If you do sign Lehner at $5mm for 5 years, you are over the cap with Stephenson, Nosek, Merrill, Engelland and Cousins to sign (or their replacements)
Stasny is UFA after this year and Martinez on D but thats only $10.5mm of cap space and would leave you 7 roster spots to fill...Good Luck with that... |
