I thought they would be able to get Daddy back on a reasonable deal. Guess the sides just couldn’t figure it out in the end.

I think Hoffman is very one dimensional, both in regular situations and on the PP. In his defense though, the PP is drawn up in a very predictable way: get the puck to Hoffman for a one-timer. That’s all teams have to look out for

Dads was a solid player for FL, but in the long run I think this is the right decision. Zito has done well adding depth players. A couple could possibly play up in the lineup, too. I really like the Verhaege signing, and I think Wennberg has more than we’ve seen the last couple of years. We’ll see what Zito does to add more, I don’t think he’s finished yet. I think Weegar will be signed before his arbitration hearing.

Sorry, my bad. Zito is not done he signed some guy named Scott Wilson. Stanley cup here we come

Next season’s All star game has been cancelled. ‘22 will be the Olympics, so no all star game in Sunrise until ‘23 (at least). The Jan 1st Winter Classic has also been cancelled.

I wonder if the WC was cancelled because that’s the day they’re planning to start the season - which is what Bettman said during the draft. Unless something has changed and they’re not sure what to do about next season.
