Carol Schram: No trade takers — expect to see Loui Eriksson back in a Canucks uniform
Jim Benning is now on the record as saying that he was not able to find another NHL GM interested in taking on the last two years of Loui Eriksson's contract. Given that it costs the Canucks less to keep him on the NHL roster than it would to place him in the AHL expect to see Eriksson back with Vancouver when the new season begins.

Thanks Carol,
Seeing Loui's name in your blog made me a bit sick in my mouth. - VanHockeyGuy
JB’s out to lunch. I’ve been told multiple times now that LE will be relegated to the AHL or LE will agree to terminate his multimillion dollar contract.
My policy is that I'll always take the piss out of someone named Elmer. - VanHockeyGuy
Don’t get me started, Makita will be in here lickity split defending Benning’s honour. We are emerging from one of the darkest times in Vancouver Canucks history in despite Jim Benning, not because of him.

Just wait until he extends Green. Then see how Makita feels.
