His stock is up right now especially at the age of 22. New York would be very tough down the middle. I thought he would a good fit for Chicago along with Dach. Not sure whats going to happen with Toews?
I don't get it. I'm seeing projections with several teams that would be interested but none would want to give up a Tier 1 prospect !
So the Jackets are supposed to just hand over a 22 y.o. #1C - with proven potential to become elite - who is under team control for 3 more seasons after this one; and the receiving team will offer only Tier 2 prospects and complimentary/depth players, with maybe a 2nd rnd pick.
Everyone wants to get Dubois AND keep their top prospects.
So Jarmo would be appalled/insulted if he didn't expect to get LaFrienere from NYR; or Zegras from the Ducks; or Byfield from the Kings.
The old cliche bandied about - you have to give to get !!
