I’ll admit, my comments regarding Quinn were a bit harsh. I was just feeling a bit let down after how hyped I was for opening night and I put that on the head coach night one.
The variance between the two games is pretty remarkable. My guess is the team settles somewhere in between these two extremes.
The firepower available is fun to watch. Great to see so many of our young players have strong games.

Kaapo Kakko now has 11 NHL goals as a Ranger. Only three other Rangers have scored 11+ goals as a teenager (Mike Allison, Alexei Kovalev, Filip Chytil). Kakko turns 20 in February. |

So happy on the way they responded. Love that Kakko and Buch scored and it wasn’t just Bread and Zbad. Smith and Miller seem to mesh well as a pair. And I only heard Johnson’s name once all night lol.
Edit: Also Barzal was completely shutdown with 3 minor penalties. Talk about a turnaround from the other night. |

Georgie looked incredible. I don't know how to say it, but he almost looked mad. lol. Like every save was a punctuation mark in the beginning of the game. He wants that starter spot. |

I think Johnson was only out there for penalty kills for the most part, which is why he will stay in the lineup
people are going to need to accept that reality that that is what he's here for, for one brief 56 game season
a big doofy penalty killing body

You can’t pull the wool over our eyes.
You were only advocating for that to boost his trade value, fan-boy! |

The real question is...what happens when ADA’s punishment is up? Can’t see Smith being sat after his strong game. |

ADA will get back in after a loss. Hopefully, after a 10 game winning streak |

I wonder which team the rangers are.. hoping they are closer to the team in game two than the game 1 team. I fan would have to nic pick to find much wrong with last nights game |

Rangers have a lot of talent and potential untapped talent on the team. Once they learn to play a structured team game they should be really good |

The real beauty of last nights win was they left no doubt. By crushing them so thoroughly, it keeps the Islander trolls away! Notice how none of them stopped by with their stupid comments? |

hey you know what, when I was hoping to get a nice trade for Georgiev, it was definitely with the belief that we could have a good-bye Henrik final season in the last year of his contract
the way it's turned out, thank goodness we have the Shesty-Georgiev tandem and should have it for years to come, because obviously that Lundqvist good-bye season would never have happened anyway

I would still like to see them bring Dubois in. The deal would need to include Strome and ADA, I guess it would depend on the what else? That deal would bring them a very nice piece to the puzzle. |
