Howden is terrible but without Chytil for 4-6 weeks not sure what the answer is.

Zibinajed is absolutely killing them, it's shot all the way up to being the number 1 problem

Have to agree with you. The trickle down effect to teammates, especially the kids, is obvious. He should be driving play and creating energy but he’s an energy vacuum right now.

He fell a few times last night on his own. Missed the net a bunch and he still got that deer in the headlights look.

I don't ever remember a Ranger playing better than he was playing at the pause last year.

EVER

and been watching and obsessing over this team since 1978

23 goals in his last 22 games, where the hell is that guy?

He has to be hurt or have post covid affects. Only logical explanation

Too many excuses being made for a horrible start from him, 8 games is more than enough time to be better than he's been, sorry to some who may not want to hear it but if he doesn't start producing he deserves to sit, I don't remember him having Covid BTW, again though plenty of holes , his position is one

and what sucks is that if either one of those are the case, they overplaying him right now because of how weak they are down the middle with Chytil out

That's what's disappointing but as a Rangers fan I think we've become conditioned to this, he's a 1st line Center, needs to start performing again like one

The OT shift was brutal, they stopped skating well before it became a long shift

It was for sure but during regulation he fell a few times on his takeoff. One by the boards and then another turning around from the d zone. Dude is definitely feeling it.

This Ziba thing is really killing us, and we have no depth at center to deal with it.

It might sound crazy but one thing to consider might be dropping Ziba down the line up and limit his minutes to around 12mins, leave him as a special teams fixture on the PP. How do we replace him in the top 6? Well. We can rotate guys at center. Namely Kreider and LAF. Lets not forget, Kreider was a C/LW when we drafted him. His faceoff ability cant possibly be any worse than the guys we already got out there.

LAF, Kreider, Buch
Panarin, Strome, Kakko

With Chytil and Blackwell out and Zib looking like he still has covid... its time to bring back a couple of familiar faces from the Free Agent pile. Brian Boyle and Grabner are both out there... both could be had for cheap and both play North/South. They could be good leaders to learn from

DeAngelo on waivers?

He didnt look good last night, but has he been playing badly enough to go on waivers?

Interesting move

DeAngelo on waivers. Have to imagine he gets claimed. He hasn’t been good but, I don’t get the move. Could we be seeing Hajek soon? Trade incoming? Somethings gotta give.

This is both a compliment and a chirp to you guys (my rival squad). You're management of players may be the worst over the past decade. How many teams can have so many great players walk away for absolutely nothing? Your trades are suspect as well. But ill be danged if you don't continue to draw in great UFA's to shore up those issues. The allure of the NY lifestyle keeps you guys relevant every year. It's wild. Hopefully Devs pick him up ASAP.

The worst management in my opinion, in recent memory was Ryan Graves. Boy could we really use him right now. Would love if the Devils could pick him up, opens up options via trade for NYR.

Welp this season is a quickly becoming a disaster, bring over Nils ASAP, JJ and Smith are gonna be a pair, let that sink in

Only other explanation is we have a deal in place for Dunn.
