VERY lucky to have held the win the other night 1 offside callback and 1 dumb penalty by Josi just in time would have made it a different outcome. We got pinned in our zone too many times. Far better the first with nice quick short passes to get out instead of the stretch pass icings

This might be the first 4GA game that I can't blame Bob for at least 1 goal. he honestly had almost zero chance to stop any of the 4GA. Our defense has to do better moving guys out of the front and clogging the shooting and passing lanes. Forwards need to help more in the D zone.

Except for the tripping penalty, I thought Denisenko did very well in his first game; had a couple of nice SOG.
Marchment looks impressive; he seems to be all over the ice and always on the puck.
Acciari with the hat trick! I guess they come in 3/game bunches for him.
Huby showed some impressive moves on his goal.
Barkov's blind feed to Vatrano should show up on the next Top Shelf show.

Denisenko looked good in his debut. Forsling had a really strong game today.
I think Huberdeau hypnotized Rinne on his breakaway, lol. Yandle with the slick dump in/shot that caught Rinne half ready and had their Dman skating off towards the corner to set up Acciari’s second goal.
Bob made a huge save seconds before Barkov’s stealing the puck and dropping it to Frankie to hammer home. 4-2 becomes 5-2 instead of 4-3. Bob has been good lately.

I am beginning to become a big Marchment fan. We still need to get another Center who has a 60% faceoff percentage.
Lammikko is a waste on the ice. When Duclair comes back, Lammikko is odd man out.

Maybe Detroit wouldnt play ball but glendening is expiring and the best % in the league. I was just thinking that same thing early this morning. A lot of the goals we give up tend to be on lost draws
