This Red Wings team is now playing like I hoped they would going into this season. They're competing. They're in games. It's too bad many of our players got covid and various other injuries. We've been chasing the season and in a 56 game schedule we can't catch up.

Still it's nice to see this team playing about as well as they can. We'd certainly have more wins with Bertuzzi in the lineup. But it's so much different than last season. It doesn't really reflect in the standings. But we're not a laughingstock anymore. We're making teams earn their wins against us. I'm seeing progression. Slowly. But it's there.

Now I'm not getting a winning feeling for the game on Saturday. Sorry! I think Dallas returns the favour. But no worries. We'll win more than a few more games before this season is over. We're playing some good hockey right now and that's all we wanted or expected. đź‘Ť

Extremely proud of the boys tonight. Hope Bernie is back soon. Hopefully griess can get hot or the offense is gonna need to get really (frank)ing hot here.

Extremely well put. Bertuzzi, for sure, would be a huge boost. Dallas is going to be livid on Saturday. Could be a rough run

Well it's not like anyone here gives a rat's a$$ what you or your other 50 alts think. Go dye your hair and I'll try to get you that autographed Bruce Boudreau poster you wanted for your 65th birthday. Cheer up. đź‘Ť

Why hello, Mr. (who are you, exactly???). I see the ignorance runs deep in you. Insults, arrogance, I'm positive based upon your post, that you're a societal reject. Funny how that compares to here as well.....be gone.

Even setting aside the fact that he just had a hat trick last night, Fabbri really seems like a much more complete player this year than even last year. He has exceeded my expectations. Hope it continues.

So, am going to watch last night's game & the game v 'Canes on DVR tonight (MUCH to my wife's chagrin...). What I'm seeing & hearing, the Wings are playing well. Lots of issues as to be expected, but I seriously think overall, they're better than many gave them credit for. I know the 'Canes are licking their wounds form losing, Dallas is gonna be HIGHLY update....Tampa took a beating.....

I know we're all frustrated with how poorly the team's doing, but when we compare this year to last....BIG improvement. Now, if we all go back to the beginning of the year, that's what we all wanted to see: Improvement. And it's there.

Looking forward to the TDL and Free Agency…..The future's so bright, I gotta wear shades!!!!

Exactly, it's about improvement.

Wings are, for the most part, playing hard and are in more games than they were last year.

We're not the worst team in the NHL anymore. Obviously 24 points in 31 games is not a good record by any objective standard. But last year it took us 44 games to get that many.

Seider could be a great one. Raymond could be really, really good. Zadina seems to be turning into a good all-around player and hopefully the points will follow. Lots of reasons for optimism.

Brind'Amour only makes 600k coaching in Carolina and his contract is up. The Ilitch's can pay him $6 mil AAV on a 5 year deal. Come on Stevie! Let's ramp up this rebuild! đź‘Ť

I’m right there Sven. He’s the kind of player you want the kids to like. Nice, humble, never gives up. Seems like a genuine human being

Greiss needs some wins. This has been a rough run and it would be good to see him have some better run support

Wings have been paying Blashill peanuts for 6 years. They've been way under the Salary Cap for the last 2 seasons. It's time to spend some money on coaching. It's not like the Red Wings can't afford it.

This is a very exciting possibility! This man has a whole lot of sprit. It would also be interesting to see which players would follow him to Detroit.

It’s funny. Yzerman could be making trades with Sakic, and looking at hiring Brind’amour as coach. How many of these guys has he known for decades, and they’re some of the best still around the game.

Marc Bergevin was a Red Wing in 95/96. He was known as the team prankster. The funny guy.

Bergevin and Lapointe still both look like they could tear someone apart. I miss those days man. Some of the guys back then looked like WWE stars!
