Sushi.

I understand the up and down nature of our perspective and his. But nopa had a descent game last night. Hope that 4 th line is building chemistry as they had some good shifts and scoring chances. Here’s to hoping again I guess.

And again. The team in whole. Kills me how many odd man rushes we don’t score on. Seems others just feast with every chance they get.

Flyers I believe are last in the league in save %. Many reasons why this team is in the shape they are in; goaltending being the biggest.

Those are results of a team with very little confidence and chemistry.

So the Sabres have a 14 game losing streak.
Let’s make predictions who they beat to stop the streak.

Interesting use of the word "descent"...where I believe you meant decent...although his career has been a descent.

What sad to listen to from this fan base is the complaining of some of the young players development. Some, not all of the young players but some. Ivan Provorov for example has hit some bumps in the road but he’s also a 24 year old kid who sees the toughest opponents, logs the most minutes and has never had a steady defensive partner. Andrew MacDonald, Shayne Gostisbehere, Travis Sanheim and Matt Niskanen have all seen time was Provorov but nobody who is on Provorov’s level. I see what Provorov does on the PP. Lets puck skip over his stick and out into the Neutral zone. It’s annoying but he’s not gonna be the same player when he’s 29 years old. He’ll be much better.

That is the hope; no guarantee. Age doesn't matter as much; its NHL age. This is his 5th season. Myers is same age but with much less NHL experience. Big difference.

Provorov, Myers, Sanheim are all foundational pieces for the Flyers. The hope is that York and Zemula will also be. Defense is a skill that needs time to develop. Its just so damn frustrating to watch...especially when you see a season swirling down the pot. Same can be said for Hart...too young to give up on but he's certainly regressed this year. Its necessary to bring stability to the blue line, and sorry, Ghost ain't cutting it. If last nights giveaway were an oddity you could forgive it...unfortunately its more the rule. Fletcher...find someone to help.

Last night's giveaway was not on Gostisbehere. It was on Farabee.

He could and should have controlled the pass...he did what he always does and reacts badly. I watched the play multiple times. Farabees pass was off, but that doesn't excuse Ghost

What happened with Will Butcher? He was once not long ago a very promising young defenseman, maybe he should be someone Flyers are looking at.

Agree, and if you watch the replay of Islanders 1st goal, it was Farabee standing around while Wahlstrom comes in and puts it in the net.

Not only that, after he miffed the pass, he just stood there and looked at the puck, while the Islander guy picked it up with time and space. Icing on the cake was Provy coasting in watching the whole debacle unfold with zero urgency.

It was a bad pass. The goal is on Farabee twice for the pass and not keeping his man from sweeping around the net, and on Elliot for over committing on the wrap around.

Ghost did nothing wrong. And if Farabee does his job the pass deflecting to the opposite side of the ice is a setback.

Ghost needed to make sure there was no one in a dangerous area like the slot. You see that he checks the guy is (supposedly) covered and then moves to the puck.

Watch it again.

Didn't the Flyers have a 4 on 2, Ghost had the puck on the left wing at the blue time, plenty of real estate in front of him, and he passed it right into traffic, which resulted in a turn over and the puck exiting the zone?
