Kids look good, growing and that's what you want to see. Granato grows on you. Would have no problem if he was in consideration during HC interviews. Like everything I have read on this guy.

The problem with this theory is that he nhl draft is even more of a crap shoot than the nfl or nba

You are drafting 18 year olds


So this years draft is drafting kids with 1 less year of games you could’ve watched or have seen some sort of development


Jack quinn for example. He would’ve been a 5th round pick if he didn’t put up 50 goals last year. What scout would’ve seen or guessed that type of progression or jump in play without watching those games

3rd rd picks especially late 3rds have like a 1% chance of making an impact in the NHL.

Outside of the first two rounds you should be trading picks for players every year.
