Is Buffalo still Hockey Heaven? |

Sole searching? Do they fish for that in Boston? |

Interesting... I wasn’t aware Hall had a full no move. I think a lot of things need to happen first before an extension is handed out. The guy has 2 goals and needs to show he’s motivated and can remove the “team cancer” label... He claims he likes not being the main focal point of the team. I thought that was his flaw all along is he had to be the focal point!
Either way, as a fan I like the move a lot,
for what they gave up and getting a wing man for #46.... But Sweeney needs to tread lightly here... |

With Krejci set to become an unrestricted free agent at the conclusion of the season, the Bruins free up $7.25 of cap space.
A chunk of change that should be more than enough to sign Hall to a multi-year contract.
So that pretty much leaves the Bruins in the same exact spot next year, except instead of the perennial search for a left wing it will be at center, There is Nobody in the system that is even close to a 2nd line center on this team.
Coyle-Kuraly-Studnika-Frederic, All bottom 6 guys
BUT see what Hall brings, really gace up Nothing for Hall, so good deal right now

I think Krejci will stick around a couple years at a discounted rate.

All well and good, except that Hall actually played for Buffalo this season, not Bos. 15 games as a rental isn’t exactly what either player or team envision when they discuss a hockey season together.
So....I’m going to go with no. Nice it worked out that the need for both parties tho |

I would take Coyle as my 2nd line C if Krejci leaves town.

So Hall played terrible this season so that Buffalo would trade him to Boston....Eat half the $'s so he would fit in cap?

You have Coyle as your 2nd line center and your not a playoff Team in the NHL
Love him, but I think 3rd line center is where he excels. However it’s not working for some reason this year |

Yeah, I mean it's not like any of Sweeney's deals have ever failed.
That Zac Rinaldo trade was a "beaut".

I’m just happy to get Hall. Surprised Sweeney pulled the trigger on it. NOW we need our top 4 D men healthy, then we can see what this team can do. |

I would disagree...
Coyle and 2 legit wingers is a perfectly fine 2nd line, and a pick up a cheaper solid 3rd line C.
My 1st choice is Krecji back on a short term deal 5 mil |

Mike from Woburn said it best you got Hall, Lazar and Reilly for less than you paid for Stempniak and John-Micheal Liles. It's about time something went Sweeney's way.

Hall is one of the most overrated players in the NHL. He has only 3 season in his carreer with a point per game ratio.
I'm a Bruins fan but i don't see this one working out.

Even if it does not work out - what did it cost us?
And if you really are a Bruins fan, have some pride and put that on your profile. |
