Honestly, I think the timing of this is excellent. I wouldn’t have said that we should expose Silvy in the expansion draft, but to me this makes him untouchable by Seattle. I’m not sure they would’ve taken him due to his salary, but I think this surgery probably puts him over the edge from Seattle’s perspective. Why would they take a maybe broken forward at 5.5 for a few years?

At this point short of getting to the cap floor who does Francis really want from this train wreck of a squad...
We hire some kind of sports therapist/ doctor injury expert from the Leafs who is supposed to be the man... and yet most of the squad can't fart without going on the DL...
Hampus is just basically worthless at this point, so over him as a viable option, ifit presents itself trade his sorry ass at the draft....Manson also... and not that he isn't justified but Gibby has completely checked out.. if not for him Vegas would have 12 or 13 last night, easy.
I did however get to see a bunch of good friends last night.
