Can we please just fast-forward to 5:30 pm?
It's going to be a great night for watching hockey.
We really need the Jets to come through for us - in regulation time.
Edmonton is breathing down our necks...

OK, I finally figured this out:
Montreal:
We'd have 67 points, 25 in regulation (1st tie-breaker). Assume we lose all our remaining games.
The max Montreal could get would be 67 points, but if they win their remaining 8 in regulation, that would give them 27 in regulation - beating us in the tie breaker.
Canucks:
We'd have 67 points, 25 in regulation (1st tie-breaker). Assume we lose all our remaining ones.
The max Vancouver could get would be 67 points, but if they win their remaining 13 games, that would give them 26 in regulation - beating us in the tie breaker.
But but but but (everyone has a big but, Simone - let's talk about your big but):
Combined, the Oilers have nine remaining games against the Habs and Canucks. If they win even one of them, we are in.
If the Oilers lose all nine, they can't catch the Leafs.
Holy poop.

Ummm yeah, well, what can I say, I'm just showing up to Hockeybuzz every night, focusing on doing the little things right.
Ummm, yeah, Gullsie's a fierce competitor - he comes he to win. We all know he's capable of being first in every Mike in Buffalo thread.
Ummm yeah, so I just need to play my game. Respect Gullsie, but just try to keep my 'buzz game simple.

I like that you never get too high or two low. You just take it one post a time, Post your own way and let the thread come to you.
