On Tuesday, the Canucks also announced their intention to relocate their AHL affiliate from Utica, New York, to Abbotsford, B.C., for the 2021-22 season.

I missed last night's game, but by the look of the clip you showed of Rathbone defending, doesn't look good, yikes.
Also, Boeser has scored more goals playing with Bo and is scoring at a pretty high pace this season without Elias, maybe Elias isn't the play driver everyone thinks he is.

Not sure how much D you've played in your life but please educate us as to how exactly he should have played it?? Also, maybe temper your expectations as to what to expect from a kid in his first game trying to defend a 2 on 1 against two of the best players on earth....

My expectations are tempered, I will take issue with anyone that that is how you defend on a 2 on 1.
Rathbone is the only draft pick I have ever gotten that I wanted, other than a few obvious ones, Linden, Sedins.
I spent my whole playing life as a checking winger or a defenseman.
On that particular play, Rathbone over commits to McDavid, the puck carrier, leaving Draisaitl wide open, a goalies worst nightmare.
It is his 1st game hopefully the coaching staff addresses any defensive issues with Rathbone and don't leave it unaddressed like they do with Hughes.
