Pretty safe to say if healthy next season the wings will make some noise. I don’t see us making the playoffs but I think we will make a nice leap.

Unfortunately blashill will be back. If you look at the overall picture with all the injuries and how much we’ve improved yzerman will give him another year. I know a lot of it has to do with how much Stevie overhauled the roster but you do have to give some credit back to the coaching staff.. I’m not a fan of blashill and his insane line up decisions but I do respect the fact he taught these kids to play defense. Look at all our young guys they are clearly bought in.. it’s a nice change of scenery from last year.

I am glad to see Veleno get his first! I really think the Wings can count on him to be that 2C, even wih just 5 games he really looks like he belongs! Stevie just needs to sign Glennie for 4th line duty and the Wings look OK for centers. I don't mean to stop looking for improvements, but Stevie won't have to acquire someone that costs a fortune in picks and other assets.
Impressed with Vrana's goal as it was close to his body and not in his wheel house and he got off a very strong shot!

I try not to get too excited end of season. Once you’re back in the pressure cooker the rebuild will still be very much on. The guys are feeling good, season is over, some need new deals. We’re still way too low on goals for but goals against got better. Hoping Seider on D will be a nice step in the right direction. I still think we’ll be bottom 10 but heading the right direction

Great game, nice to see the win and hoping for more of the same tonight. We might as well get ready for Blashill staying besides he follows the GM’s direction and doesn’t vary from direction given. This team still needs a year to grow and I’m excited to see how Stevie builds this team. Let’s all hope things open up throughout the league and we can see an expanded season next fall.
