Unreal team game. All hands are on deck and committed to keeping all the gaps tight. Stan the Man is a beast putting his bid in on 2LD, and Poolman has elevated his game as well. Keep up the 60 minutes of team-play and good things will happen boys!

Nice screen job by Kuli! Stats, the wise old man took advantage of an Oiler 2 d screen.

Good team game, goalie is awesome!

Poolman and Stanley look like a big top 4 pairing which is solid in their own zone, that can move the puck out of trouble and chip in offensively.

As great as Winnipeg's goaltending Is It's really Edmonton's lack of depth that Is digging the Oilers deeper In the hole.

55 far more engaged in our end and it makes a difference! Really liked his game

DeMelo with a blood and guts blocked shot !

Stanley made a pass to Copp that was elite and no mention of it by the announcers which was too bad. This kid is getting better and better. Can actually say he has soft hands, passing is great usually and gets his shot on net.

Dubois coming back from injury again but looked really good in the 3rd. Not worried about PLD.

On another note.....Mike Smith can move the puck wow! Like a 3rd Dman sometime

Mcdavid leads the playoffs In high danger chances. Helly playing lights out and mcdavid having some bad luck are really the deciding factors in this game. Hopefully they can keep it up.

The Jets are finally starting to play like a Central Division team. This is the game that none of the other Canadian teams can handle. This is the reason I picked this team to win this division, be well rested for the final four and win the cup.

If McDavid doesn’t get at least 3 points the Oilers lose. Has there ever been a team so dependent on one player?

Not like this is a new development, but it just kinda sticks with me watching the ever clutch Mark Stone. If we would’ve got him for 2018 playoff run instead of Hayes, I think we would’ve won the cup. I know he doesn’t play center, but he’s a defensive beast, clutch scorer and true leader. I love watching him create insta-memes with his emphatic cellys!

Ya gotta believe !!!

The late comeback was very reminiscent of the Jets in the early part of the season. Lots of determination and resolve on this Jets team. A knife through the heart of the Oilers .

I'm not sure why I am still sticking with my prediction of the Jets in six but I am just because our history with the Oilers is there. I would love nothing more than a 4 game sweep though just to stick it to Edmonton for all that damage from past playoffs.

If I were to make one or two lineup changes for tomorrow night other that Brossoit being in net it would be to take Appleton out of the lineup and maybe Forbort . Appleton isn't built for the playoffs and Forbort is just terrible at getting the puck out of the D-zone. Some fresh legs for Toninato, Ves , or even Harkins would be welcome on the back-to-back game. Possibly Lewis could use a rest as well. As I mentioned after Game 1, Maurice also has the luxury of relatively fresher legs from Ehlers and Dubios which might also come in quite useful against a tired Oilers team. I doubt Smith will start for the Oilers either so there may be some new strategies on zone entries for Wpg

Goalies almost never play on back-to-back nights. Fatigue set in. I would think Brossoit starts and if it's a tight game in the third you could see a goalie switch. I would also be shocked to see 39 yrs old Smith play back-to-back.

Forbort is gawd awful and I agree to take him out. Even Benn might be better than him because he is mindless. Can’t get the puck out, let McDavid have the puck after standing there looking where he could at least battled Mcjesus for the puck. Slow as molasses in Janauary. Here is where u pull him out and stick Benn or even Heinola in.

It will be interesting to see who plays net. The pundits were saying Smith was loading up on electrolytes as he was playing tonite. We will see.

I am rooting for the Jets all the way..watching them so much this year, the adherence to system and execution, the passing and small moves to open things up to make a play possible, supporting each other and knowing where to be..skills are pretty good as well

I have ties to the city.. used to represent a major HVAC manufacturer whose head office is located there in the states and went to a game in their box back in 2015-16 I think. Also went to Europe on a friendship hockey tour with the Hearbreakers an old timers team from the area back in 2008.. nice group..

I lean towards Brossoit. helly may be tired and more susceptible to injury, but he is in a zone, still if they are not successful with Brossoit they have three more chances with hellebuyck. It is a tougher choice if they lost the OT last night- then you roll with your #1 again.

Hellebuyck won’t be happy about losing the chance to close a series but he will get past it.

Hellebyuck starts this game. No doubt in my mind!

The Oilers are proving me right! This division is so crappy that even with poopty coaching systems (given the high number of high danger chances against) the Jets should easily make the final four and once they are there all bets are off. Hellebyuck is playing out of his mind and man has Ehlers emerged as a game breaker since Laine left this team. Also what about Scheifele? Top 10 center showing his stuff, I love that guy

One thing is for sure, bring out the brooms tonight, I am smelling sweep!!!!

Awww Yea!

Yes I know Forbort was a -3, but also had 3 hits, 3 blocks and logged 25 minutes of ice time. I would say there are a lot of d-men in this league who might be -3 on nights against God and Draisaitl.

No, he will never be confused with Bobby Orr, but for $1 mill a season, what do you expect? I think Forbort has exceeded expectations. A good signing!

Having said that, I think he is a one-year man with Lord Stanley moving up to the #2 LH position next season. Says something for Stanley that the Oilers were out to get him - a rookie - in last night's game. Stanley may make the odd rookie mistake at times, but he's a keeper!

On another note, I am tired of the NHL disrespecting Winnipeg fans.

In 2015 when the Jets played the Ducks, all the local game starts happened at 8 or 9:00pm. Today’s game starting at 8:45pm is a travesty on so many levels. You have the top 2 players in the league playing late, which makes no sense in a marketing sense as well Winnipeg fans being forced to stay up late, especially those with kids not being fully able to enjoy the game, which should in reality be played tomorrow at 7:00pm.

This is just crap.
