Thanks Carol. Dipietro's gear reminds me of Trevor Kidd's old Leaf setup. |

Certainly is, he reminds me of Carey Price.

A bit lofty, but even if he carves out a career as a solid tandem goalie, that's pretty good value, or he can be used as a trade chip to bolster the roster |

I’m not comparing DiPietro to Ken Dryden, but Dryden was really good at stopping the puck, great anticipation and really read the play well. I see DiPietro with that same ability and drive to win. |

Will have the best goaltending tandem in the NHL for the next decade!

I mean it's possible. If DiPietro ends up becoming a starter caliber goaltender, to have a goalie like that playing behind a high end starter in Demko would be amongst the elite tandems in the NHL. Can't rule that out given how promising both have looked. |

Hope Mike Dipi gets a shot!

Wonder if Don Granato will be available in the off season. Former USNDP coach and interim Sabres coach after they fired Kruger. |

And after QH perfects his D game this summer, he'll be the next Bobby Orr.
The Stanley Cup will be ours next season. How can it not be? |

This is a real concern, the size.....but it has been done before. I'm not to high on him. I still have all those goals going in on him burned in my mind haha even though he was like 18 |

I later backed off of that statement by adding that if it was true then yeah he’s a coward quitter that I’d move on from. So far I haven’t seen a report that refutes him skipping out on exit meetings, have you? - Nucker101
that's what i wanted to find out about: where you heard the original story that he skipped out of exit meetings.
i heard (on here actually) that a player left after the last game but the specific player was not named. i just wanted to read the story and find out if there's more to it and where you got that it was schmidt?
since you had such a strong opinion that relied on the original report, i wanted to get your source. thanks in advance. |

Drafting DiPietro will be the only reason Benning will be remembered. Benning will be in the ring of honour while our Saviour MICHAEL DIPIRTRO will have his name on the fu cking building. |

and canucks management would end up misspelling the name. |
