All the Maple Leafs for Seth Jones.
It would be a good start.

Jones is overrated,
no way the Avs should have any interest, the depth they have on D is very good. Giving up assets for Jones and then signing him to the dollars he would want would be very poor cap allocation.
as for Flyers,
offer Patrick to the desperate for Centers Jackets and this years 2nd. no more. |

Straight up Willy Nylander for Seth Jones.
Nylander has term remaining, is signed to a tradeable contract and is coming off a strong playoff performance. He becomes a top line player for a team in need of a star up front.
Jones has 1 year remaining on his deal so short term cost savings for the Leafs, gives them a chance (unlikely) to resign him but flexibility cap wise after that and another strong piece to contend in 2022.
The two teams have made deals in the past and this one might fit both teams. Would probably require Dubas to be replaced to make it happen though, he did promise Willy that he wouldn't be moved.

Um, Columbus would take that for sure, especially because Seth Jones is a UFA in just a few weeks. |

I was thinking Philly backed off on sacrificing assets for Ekholm and Ellis for two reasons:
1) They weren't a contender and likely would have missed the playoffs anyway.
2) Adding a d-man would just make their expansion draft approach even more difficult and lead to a more valuable player being lost.
But sure, maybe it's all about Seth Jones.
P.S. Who is Freedman? |

To Pitt:
Seth Jones
To Columbus:
Bryan Rust
John Marino
1st round pick
Not sure Pens want to give Rust his next contract (he is 30), Marino is young, lots of promise and is signed for next 5 years at 4.4M and is RH D as well. Money Jones gets on next deal matches what these two likely to make. This lets Columbus retool with two good players and Pens create two solid D pairings anchored by Jones and Letang respectively that can share the load. |

For
Jones, Korpisalo
Assuming leafs can talk to Jones about an extension ahead of time. |

I wouldnt make a pitch. Jones is incredibly overrated based on name value, when in reality he's been on a decline ever since he peaked in 2017. Somebody is going to massively overpay and will end up regretting it |

* 2021 3rd Rd Pick
To Columbus:

Jones to Edmonton although I put his cap hit at 9 at the most in a flat cap world and wouldn't want him on the team for more. |
