Gustafson has been really good on the pp and for that reason alone he should stay in. With Petry and Weber both suffering hand injuries Gustafson's shot is the only effective one the habs have at the moment. Should be Kulac out but it will be Romanov instead.

Well, Petry wasn't really scoring much lately. It's his skating and ability to start the breakout that's sorely needed. He should be able to do that if he's well enough to play. Weber hasn't scored much all year. I almost prefer Gustafson to him on the point at this point. If both Weber and Petry can't shoot keep them on the bench and let them rest. Manage their minutes.

yes that'll be key for sure. as it was probably already mentioned you can't have a guy like Chiarot play over 10 minutes in the 1st period... I'm hoping Petry will be fine, not sure what his pain tolerance level is but it must've been pretty bad if he had to miss the first game of this series.

not sure DD has the horses to win 4 againts this big, strong and talented team. enter Petry, enter who ever you want... that won't change a thing imo.

Vegas have an excellent goalie, a very good dcore, 4 well balanced lines with speed, toughness, experience, they seem healthy (no key player injured)... it will be extremely difficult to win one, let alone 4.

enjoy the ride, let the kids learn. we're not there yet.

I know you're being "realistic", but I find after beating Toronto and Winnipeg and getting to the 3rd round it's kind of a lame approach to have, especially after 1 game in the series.. oh well.
