Officials poop all over what would have been a good game otherwise. It's hard as a Bolts fan to enjoy the victory when it's tainted by beer league officiating.

Sad to see referees possessing a disposition that they are part of the game. A good referee understands that he is not. Missing a "Too many men" infraction at this level is a reflection of either incompetence or arrogance. the Isles are built to bend but not break. They can ill afford the refs' gaffs. they just aren't offensively gifted to overcome something as egregious as that.

I believe that’s the first game 1 we won so maybe we started a new trend. Be nice to hold home ice here.

nah.. we beat Pens game 1.. lost game 2.

As I said in the other thread.. my biggest issue with the non "too many men" is it had a direct result on the play. a lot of these teams do these absurd changes that Add a man to what was an even man rush that creates an odd man rush. (the pens do it a lot... they have a guy come off the bench close to O-zone before the guy he is changing for has even gotten to red line). I want to see the angle of that play from the get go.. b/c I think one of the reasons Barzal stayed with Kucherov is there was no one coming into the zone... Pulock had Point already.

correct, and then we won the next 3. Including the double OT game.

In Boston series we lost game 3 in OT and then won the next 3.

Leddy had Kuch from the stretch pass. Pulock had Point and Barzal instead of paying attention to the late man coming and eventual goal scorer Palat, also went to Kucherov. Some will say its Leo's fault not knowing WFT they are talking about, typical At the end of the day having 7 guys on the ice and the goal being allowed is an embarrassment to the NHL. The goal with a pretty good angle is on the link below. Flat out a missed D assignment by Barzal.
