All three of the aforementioned players would be great trade chips for the rebuild, Really solid players with value. Henrique should be on that list as well. Actually any of the vets. |

I'm really sceptical about the value we'll get back. Maybe some 2nd round picks and a few prospects. Lindholm might get us a low first. In a iffy draft I'm just not that into this idea. Maybe trade one or two of them. Resigning Lindholm maybe the best idea for him. Manson and Rackell kind of defend on how much they want to resign for. I doubt either will take a pay cut. So maybe trading is the best option.
If we get Eichel though. Isn't it better to keep veteran players like these to try to make the playoffs next year though. Maybe. Maybe not. Maybe it's just better to take this offseason one step at a time. If we keep the third and young players we stay the course of developing young players. But if we get Eichel we don't trade and maybe resign one or two of those guys.

I could see a potential blockbuster between the Ducks and Flyers Involving John Gibson. I think the current goaltending climate In the league tells me a team would even over play for great goaltending. Maybe Allison, Patrick, Maybe Frost going to Anaheim, It would be multiple players and would benefit both clubs. |

Patrick. Has he got over his migraines yet. At this point I think he's just a add on. Gibson is probably a no go as a trade. Do to the fact that your probably gonna undervalue him. He's had 2 bad years. But half of the goals scored on him were impossible to stop. And don't you already have carter heart too. Why do you need Gibson |

I think Gibson Is a great goaltender and he's currently on a team that Is rebuilding or at least contemplating a rebuild, Personally I'm a Wild fan so I don't have a dog In the fight but Flyers could sure use him. |

If there were to be a trade with the Flyers, I'm guessing it would be Josh Manson involved, not John Gibson. |

Trading Manson not only gets us a return, but allows us to protect Fleury. I think he should be dealt before the expansion draft.
I also think that keeping Rakell and letting him build his value until the trade deadline would be wise. |

Are the Flyers already giving up on Hart? If they are, then he’d have to be packaged in a deal for Gibson. |

Gibson back home to PIT makes too much sense so it won't happen.
If someone threw a 1st the Ducks way for any of those 3 at the 2021 draft, Ducks should run with it. Otherwise, dangle them at the deadline. Hampus, in particular, would be a great deadline pickup for a contender. |

Not really any sense there. In a year or 2 the Penguins will be rebuilding. Why trade what few assets you have left for one or 2 final cup runs? |

Resign Hampus - 5 x 7
Trade Josh & Raks to Florida for 2nd in 2023 & 3rd in 2022 and 2 B level prospects.
Use those savings on FA offensive wing.

As a Sabres and Ducks fan(I love bad hockey)
Would like to see Buffalo resolve issues and somehow keep Eichel. That doesn’t seem likely so hoping Ducks able to grab him. Will be expensive but well worth it.
Only 24 and he is electric, one of the best skaters. Unfortunately Buffalo management is beyond inept.
These players this young never come on the market. Do everything and anything to get him.
Any player or pick(which Sabres will screw up anyways) included is replaceable |

Correct me if I'm wrong but they would need to get a goalie back if they traded Gibby.
They would only have Stolarz available for the expansion otherwise. Pretty sure you need to have a goalie on your roster that isnt exposed.
Philly cant trade Hart because then they have to expose Gibson.
Again, not sure of the math but to trade Gibson they are better off waiting until after...not a knock on Alex but no one is taking him with the goalies available. |

That's precisely it: you want to squeeze a few more Cup runs out of 2 generational players. You're a Ducks fan. I'm a Kings fan. It sucks to sit on the sideline during the playoffs, no matter how enjoyable it is to watch even without a team in the mix. I've been reminded of this the last several years, and you probably have, too. It blows. |

Gibson’s a sure thing and the Pens will finish too low to get anything close to a can’t miss prospect in the draft.
As far as the prospects are concerned, Poulin is probably the closest we have to a high end prospect and even then I don’t think he’s immovable. Sure, he could help as soon as this season but the Pens need more help tending than they do scoring.
I’d be fine with packaging a first and Poulin + for two more shots at the cup. |
