I still see this as a projected Colorado protected list:
Projected Protection List
F Mikko Rantanen
F Nathan MacKinnon
F Andre Burakovsky
F Nazem Kadri
F Joonas Donskoi
F Valeri Nichushkin
F Tyson Jost
D Samuel Girard
D Devon Toews
D Cale Makar
I think people have always expected they'd figure a way around the Erik Johnson thing and this doesnt change much
Graves is still likely to be exposed if they don't trade him
with Byram, Graves in't in their top4 and they'd rather go 7-3-1 |

Kings supposedly want a top-6 winger and a defenseman. Rangers have what they need in exchange for an effective top-6 center |

I doubt they trade Turcotte or Byfield and I don’t think Vilardi or Kupari are worth Buch. |

I asked where they project Kupari on the Kings blog last week and they said eventually he’ll move to wing bc of the depth at center and they see him as a middle 6 player. I’m not sure they do it, but Buch is a proven player vs Kupari still being a prospect. |
