If 24 and 31 are available for 15 on draft day I think I’m taking that every day of the week. |

I like Svechkov a lot. All the reports on him make him sound almost Datsyuk-ian. |

As I said, I debated long and hard on it, Spoke to a draft guru to get his view as well. Almost pulley's the trigger and if Svechkov was gone, I would have. |

agreed, if that's on the table at 17 for Winnipeg, sold |

Well if Wallstedt is there and the 'Peg doesn't want him, that deal may be there. As said, I was very close to pulling the trigger and may be proved to be wrong. But really liked Svechkov |

Solid pick Jan!
Reading the scouting reports, reminded of Sergei Nemchinov. That 2nd trade offer would be very tempting too... |

Damn, missing Graves sucks even more that he went to NJ |

I wonder if Rangers not being able to offer second rounder in this draft killed their shot

I came thisclose to pulling the trigger to get the second first rounder. If I did, Pinelli was my target at 24 |

Thinking the same, though might have depended on prospect offered. Wonder who they could have included in a deal. |

actually, the Devils gave the 61st pick in the draft for Graves (originally Islanders) and the Rangers actually have the 65th pick from Buffalo so no big deal there
Avs must really like this prospect
or, Rangers weren't interested |

The way you described him makes one think he should have been selected in the top 5!!! |

The other option could be to trade the 24th to the Yotes since they want to get into the first round. Packaged with Georgiev and maybe a middle-tier prospect that could potentially land us Dvorak. |

Every time I read something about Landeskog I get a little excited, however I have to chill and be realistic. Lol |

The last 4 years hes been playing alot of center, taking between 450-600 draws a year winning over 50% of them every year. |

Hes primarily a LW, but if asked to play C between Panarin and whoever I think he’d happily do it. |

So not only does my offer to move up for Wallstedt get rejected but also my target at 22 is taken. Well played Jan. |

How much is it gonna cost? You have to imagine Colorado is giving him reasonable offers considering the cap issues and he just feels he can get more elsewhere? Maybe it's all BS to generate uncertainty around the league? |
