I'm with you Ben..I don't like giving up another 2nd when we need all of the help we can get. Part of Korenar's GAA is the poor team defense and system that allows too many High Danger Chances. That said, he does need to improve his glove hand. He should show well in Tucson assuming that Kuemper and Raanta are back next year. |

I definitely would have preferred this be a 3rd round pick over a 2nd, but still, seems fair-ish. I'd rather have Hill than Talbot, Khudobin or several others rumored to be possible Sharks targets.
I was hoping for Dreiger but I had a hunch competition to sign him (and dollar/term) probably would have kept him out of DWs reach.
I'm guessing Jones will be bought out after the expansion draft.
Regardless, it won't matter much unless play in front of Hill dramatically improves. They struggle as a team getting the puck out of their own end, and can't keep any sustained pressure in the offensive zone. That ends up being a lot of high danger scoring chances against. |

Panic trade for Arizona who likely couldnt trade Keumper and didnt want to lose keumper for nothing in expansion. Its been said that Arizona was asking for a 1st round pick for Keumper. So makes sense why they couldnt trade him. Hill is a nice add for SJ. |
