Thanks Carol. Francis has said he believes cap space is the most important part to a team. That sounds like he's not interested in taking on salary dumps so he can go after top UFA's in their prime. He can outbid everyone for Hamilton, Landy, Hall etc. and trade for Laine/Jones to give them big deals.

I would be fine with a trade down, with the 1st rounder, as the 3 good guys, Power, Edvinson and McTavish will all be gone, in the top 5.
Getting another high pick for trading down, may be more beneficial, especially if you could somehow get Ceulemans and Pirelli, or something like that.
