Agree Ben, it's kinda pricey. But, since the Ducks aren't bringing in anyone else of consequence, who cares? I'm a little surprised he didn't go to Dallas, if that rumor was true. Dallas actually improved their team. |

Rebuilding sucks, but it’s a necessary evil we must all endure at some point or another. This upcoming draft has some franchise level players. |

Do you not understand the definition of a REBUILD? The worst thing a team can do is overpay for an older player through UFA signings. If you're a Cup contender, then yes, jump in and go for it. Otherwise, you build through drafting and trades. We have the rest of the summer to make trades. Relax. |

Don't like the move. Does he not want to be on a winning team because he loves SoCal? Surely he could be more useful on a contender, albeit for a lower salary. I'm sure his bank account is more than stuffed, so you'd think he want his remaining years to be with a winning franchise. Best of luck to him, though his retention doesn't help the Ducks get out of the basement. |

Getz and JG specifically have said they don't want to be part of a rebuild or whatever you want to call it... Soooo ... BM just straight lied to both ?
Hamilton would've made this team instantly a lot better and shown both that Murray was more than talk...
Now maybe something more is coming down the pike.. I'm willing to wait a while on it. |
