He's a lousy hockey player. And from what I've seen he's not a very good goon either. He loses most of his fights. The least Dubas could do, if he hires a goon get one that can fight.

The fights I saw him in he held his own and he fought the big boys like Reeves.

Here's a clip of McDermid using Gabriel as a punching bag. There are a few of these around, I haven't seen one where Gabriel is a clear winner. Don't understand this signing honestly. If you get a goon, at least get a good one.

If he gets more than 12 points in 42 games plus hits and fights he'll be better and cheaper than that fu3king Giraffe.

If he gets 0 points and hits the fu3k out of the Webers and Charots of the league for 7 minutes a game....that's like 20 extra points for Matthews with a tired opposing team defense, I'll take that too.

Like Mike avoiding mentioning Ho-Sang. 🤣

Going to just wait and see overall how this all plays out and who even really makes the actual roster. Still thinking we are just sort of par for the course.

Unsigned overage junior - played 13 games for the Marlies last year 6G 6A and scored 96 points with the Guelph Storm the previous year in 63 games. LW, 6'1"

Has more scoring ability than either Giraffe or Mikheyev if he can play in the NHL.

Kerfoot, Kampher and a big hard hitting winger would be decent way to make a 3rd line ..I think.

If the remaining cap space isn't going to an upgrade on defense - then it should really go to getting a real third liner. Top two lines can make due with whatever garbage LW they get. $$$ better spent on third line.

Bottom six needs work, Doubt Bunting is a 1st Line guy. That's the spot the Leafs need to fill. Mikheyev and Engvall can (frank) off until they learn how to hit.

Ya, I don't see the need on D ...right now. It's the regular season ..if we're dressing Sandin and Dermott then give them a job and lets see what happens. That's 6 guys that need minutes plus Biega eating popcorn. Save some cap dollars and add a D at the deadline to solidify things.

I think the need for a real middle six winger is bigger.

Kampf has 0 offense and does not belong on a 3rd line. He is very good 4C who can play 14 minutes a night and on PK. That's about it.
