I agreed Sam Steel has a lot to prove to the organization this year. Other draft picks have been stepping up in their development where as he hasn’t…Jones is another who needs to step up this year as well.
Both have been off and on…a game or two where they are great and creative with the puck then 10-12 games where they are unnoticeable.
I like steel and hope that he can bring some of what he did in junior to anaheim. Problem is how can he do that when they're putting him on the 3/4 line and expecting him to primarily check. Give him top 6 minutes and a chance to show what he can do. I worry he will turn out to be another kyle palmieri, who never got a chance to show what he can do, and since he left has been putting up good numbers

Wild Bill was traded to Columbus, where he didn't exactly light up the league either. The problem there was that he was traded for Wisniewski, who was pretty awful by that time.
