At the same time, the Sabres have to find a way to get this guy going. I mean, he's got a HUGE contract and we need goals.

it's an expensive, very unappealing fourth line...however, baller is right...taking jack out of the equation puts them at roughly $43m meaning they need to add four players at $17m to get to the cap floor of $60m...which, by the way, does leave plenty of room for a cap dump or two

Eakin should be on the block along with Olofsson, Bjork, Miller, and at least one of Butcher and Hagg. Starting with these players on the roster is a huge mistake.

The Sabres are very interested in shipping Eakin to the Thrashers, we will even consider just future considerations. Atlanta could use some of his, his, his enthusiasm.
